Two veteran players have been confirmed as heathy scratches for tonight's upcoming game between the New York Rangers and New York Islanders. Indicating that the Rangers are ready to make a trade.

The New York Rangers have recently made veteran forward Reilly Smith a healthy scratch for Sunday night's game for «roster management», but several reports have confirmed it is related to trade reasonings.

Two veteran healthy scratched for tonight's matchup between the Rangers and Islanders

It has been confirmed that Reilly Smith will be held out of the New York Rangers lineup once again as the Rangers are preparing to take on the Islanders. However at the moment still no trade has been made.
The #NYR are holding Reilly Smith out of the lineup again tonight for "roster management purposes" after also keeping him out yesterday.

The pending UFA is expected to be on the move before Friday's trade deadline.
And the other veteran forward that will be a healthy scratch for tonight's game is Anthony Duclair from the Islanders.
Looks like Anthony Duclair will be a healthy scratch for #Isles tonight vs. #NYR.
There hasn't been any connection between the two teams combining for a trade.
The 33-year old forward has been a solid player for the New York Rangers this season as he has managed to tally 10 goals and 19 assists for a total of 29 points in 58 games played.
