Last minute development has resurfaced involving the New York Rangers acquiring Carolina Hurricanes star Martin Necas.
The New York Rangers and Hurricanes have been in trade talks for a little bit now, as it was reported that the Hurricanes were shopping Martin Necas.
Despite the Rangers recently signing Reilly Smith, they were still interested in the young star forward. However a recent report has suggested that Necas may have found his new home.
Recent reports confirm, the Winnipeg Jets are shopping forward Nikolaj Ehlers, and the Hurricanes are interested in swapping Martin Necas for Ehlers in a trade.
Many believe this would a decent trade for the Hurricanes, and even one reporter pointed out that it would make perfect sense considering Necas wants out of Carolina after Jake Guentzel was traded.
There are reports that CAR is pushing heavily for Ehlers.
Can confirm those reports.
Make sense with them losing Guentzel.
#Isles had interest leading up to #NHLDraft.
Could still have interest even after acquiring Duclair but not sure.
Unfortunately it seems like the New York Rangers are officially out of talks with the Carolina Hurricanes involving Martin Necas, and that he is more than likely to end up with the Winnipeg Jets or the New York Islanders.
