New York Rangers chances of landing a massive player from the Vancouver Canucks Organization has just increased a ton following latest comments from president of hockey operations Jim Rutherford.

Vancouver Canucks president of hockey operations Jim Rutherford issued a brutally honest statement when talking about the feud between J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson.
Essentially confirming that one of these two players will have to be traded, increasing the New York Rangers chances of landing J.T. Miller.
«I felt like for a long time that there was a solution here because everybody has worked on it, including the parties involved... But it only gets resolved for a short period of time and then it festers again and so it certainly appears like there's not a good solution that would keep this group together,» Rutherford said.

When Miller was asked about Rutherford's comments, he did not confirms nor deny that there was tension between him and Pettersson.
J.T. Miller had this to say when asked about Canucks GM Jim Rutherford's comments about him and teammate Elias Pettersson having a rift 😳
"I don't have one," Miller said about whether he had an opinion about Rutherford's statements.
With Miller's stern response and refusal to set the record straight about his feud with Pettersson just goes to show that he's tried of being with the Canucks and that there is in fact some truth behind all these reports.
By now it's no secret that the New York Rangers have been linked to Miller, consider Elliotte Friedman revealed that they were progressing in trade talks with the Canucks before a deal fell through. Along with a recent statement from Darren Dreger:
«I would look, of course at New York,» TSN's Darren Dreger said. «I mean, JT Miller speculation, linked to the New York Rangers, who are obviously playing better; that's not going to go away anytime soon.»

The possibility of the Canucks trading Miller before the March 7th NHL Trade Deadline is very likely given all the recent reports that are emerging from within the Canucks organization.
