Laviolette Addresses Media On Injury Status After Comeback Win
The Rangers complete the comeback and win 6-5 in overtime after an Artemi Panarin game-winner over the Islanders, extending the win streak to a season-high seven games!
A great win, unfortunately the Rangers did suffer another injury.
It was a stick to the face that got Ryan Lindgren on the follow through from an Alexander Romanov pass.
Apparently Lindgren was escorted on a golf cart to an ambulance.
He was able to walk on his own, face with many visible stitches, eyes completely swollen.
Head coach Peter Laviolette says Lindgren is getting evaluated for an upper-body injury, no other update.
Unfortunately we might not hear anything more until Tuesday.
Hopefully it's nothing serious and Lindgren will be back on his feet soon.
We will update as more information on his injury status becomes available.
