Peter Laviolette impressed with top defenceman's play
It's always important for an elite player to continue to be noticed by their coach and always help give their team the best chance to win.
This seems to be the case right now for Adam Fox who has been quite noticeable for the past number of games which has not gone unnoticed by Peter Laviolette.
During his postgame conference, Peter Laviolette gave his views on how fox has been great and how he has been taking his game to the next level.
Fox has been positioning himself as one of the most consistent offensive defenseman for the Rangers since Brian Leetch.
Over the past 61 games this year, he has scored fourteen goals with 47 assists for 61 points and is a + 18. For his past five games, he has put up three goals, 5 assists for eight points.
The former Norris trophy winner is certainly making noise of being a third time finalist for the prestigious award as he is a fixture on the Rangers blue line and will continue to dominate and give them great offence as the playoffs begin.
The 26-year-old was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in 2016, third round, 66th overall.
