Laviolette Relaxed Ahead Of Game 5 Tonight And Chytil's Status
The Rangers are looking to close out their second round series against the Carolina Hurricanes. Head coach Peter Laviolette wasn't worried about last game or the future. Here he is speaking on the mindset of the team, looking to punch their ticket into the Conference Finals:
"I go one game at a time. I go one day at a time"
Laviolette was also noncommittal about Filip Chytil, but it certainly looks like Chytil won't play tonight. He didn't skate with any of the top four lines when they did rushes. As of right now, Matt Rempe is on the ice with the team for warmups. Thankfully, there is word that Chytil's illness is not related to any concussion symptoms.
Chytil is currently listed as day-to-day.
