is one of the best Russian wingers to suit up in the NHL, and he's going to crack multiple records soon if he keeps going. He could end up as one of the best Russian goal-scorers in NHL history with the he's pace he's on.
Artemi Panarin is one of the best Russian NHL players to suit up for the Rangers. He's a game-breaker, and capable of making plays to keep his team in the running in the darkest scenario.
Think Columbus, and Tampa Bay 2019. The year he wrote his own paycheck after he arrived in New York.
As it stands now, Panarin is 10th on the list of Russian NHL players with a total of 838 points this season.
That puts him above former NHLer Sergei Gonchar and is slightly behind Vyacheslav Koslov by 27 points.
He could pass Koslov as soon as this season, or the beginning of 2025, depending on how he plays the rest of the year. Next on the list, is NHL legend and dropout, Ilya Kovalchuk who went from being a legend on the Atlanta Thrashers to waving goodbye forever to the NHL and heading back home in 2020.
Breadman is just 38 points behind him in the standings, while the final boss in this scenario is
Nikita Kucherov, a personal friend of Panarin's. He's ahead of Breadman by 117 points, which could take a season or two to eclipse given the rate Kuchervo can produce.
When it comes to the Rangers records, Panarin isn't so far behind in top goalscorers for the club either, with 518, which puts him at twelfth all-time.
He won't have such an issue climbing this mountain of stars, as He's only 46 points behind
Mika Zibanejad and 54 behind Kreider.
Those odds don't seem impossible given how well Panarin is doing this season, and unfortunately how poorly Kreider and Zibanejad are this year.
Steve Vickers' 584 is 8th. All these players are catchable for the Breadman, who has dominated in a Rangers uniform. Where we start to question whether it is doable or not is Ron Greschner. At 610 points
For
Panarin it's not impossible for even the odds with either a Rangers player or Russian NHL star.
It's just a matter of producing like he regularly does, and keeping his shooting percentage high.
As of now, he's scored 53 points (23 G, 34 A) in 57 games for the Rangers, and there are still 25 games left in the regular season.
