After the hit things looked bad as Carrick left to the New York Rangers dressing room and was out for a good part of the second period.

Looks like Sam Carrick headed to the #NYR locker room after taking that hit from Gudas.

Sam Carrick not on #NYR bench, must've gone to locker room after that hit from Gudas.

However, Rangers fans finally received a break as Mollie Walker of the New York Post, confirmed before the second period ending that Sam Carrick had returned to the Rangers bench and seems to be ok.

Sam Carrick is back for #NYR
