New York Rangers faced with a scary situation as Sam Carrick exits the game after a brutal hit
The New York Rangers faced a scary moment as forward Sam Carrick took a heavy hit from Anaheim Ducks captain Radko Gudas.
Tonight's both teams are desperately fighting to get on the board as the second period has came to an end with the score at 0-0.
However, during the second Sam Carrick was looking to accept a pass at the Anaheim Ducks blue-line, but unfortunately Radko Gudas stepped up in Carrick and laid a massive, but clean hit to straight to the chest and sent Carrick to the ice.
Along with that Adam Edstrom followed up with his own massive hit as well to get even:

After the hit things looked bad as Carrick left to the New York Rangers dressing room and was out for a good part of the second period.
Looks like Sam Carrick headed to the #NYR� locker room after taking that hit from Gudas.

However, Rangers fans finally received a break as Mollie Walker of the New York Post, confirmed before the second period ending that Sam Carrick had returned to the Rangers bench and seems to be ok.
