New York Rangers GM failed once again as lose another players to free agency, that player being forward, Jack Roslovic.
According to insider Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the former New York Ranger will be signing a deal with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Roslovic was one of the few remaining free agents on the market, but he has now signed a deal with Hurricanes and will help boost their third line. Roslovic was even linked to a few teams before signing, like the Buffalo Sabres, Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames.
During the 2023-24 season he spent the first half of the season with Columbus Blue Jackets and then joined the New York Rangers, as he posted nine goals and 31 points in 59 games.
The 27-year old forward even managed to tally up 16 points in the playoffs for the New York Rangers before they were eliminated by the Florida Panthers.
The Rangers organization will definitely be taking a hit for not being able to reach a final deal with Roslovic.
However they can possibly make up for it as there is still some forwards on the free agency market that still remain unsigned and available like Daniel Sprong, Tyler Johnson, Filip Zadina and Alex Nylander.
