Both Artemi Panarin and Ryan Lindgren returned to the ice for the New York Rangers morning practice on Sunday, which is a huge relief for fans as the Rangers regular season is set to start this week.
It was reported by Mollie Walker of the New York Post, that Panarin and Lindgren skated on their own prior to the Rangers practice as they both are recovering from their own personal injuries.
Lindgren's situation seems to be serious as he's considered week-to-week after sustaining an upper-body injury from fighting Scott Mayfield during the preseason.

To add to that, the 26-year old defenseman has missed a series of practices and today marks his first appearance since he sustained this injury, which is obviously a good sign but his return is still remains uncertain.
Meanwhile, Panarin is dealing with a lower-body injury that he sustained during one of the New York Rangers first preseason games against the New York Islanders, which thankfully does seem to serious as he's already back on the ice.
While the 32-year old superstar shouldn't be sidelined long-term, his status for the New York Rangers opening night game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on this upcoming Wednesday still remains unknown as head coach Peter Laviolette hasn't given an update.
