The Rangers organization training camp continues to roll on and the team has just released it's second annual third jersey schedule.

The Rangers announced that they will play 10 games with their third threads which will all be at home. They also revealed that it would a schedule of seven of their 10 games will be against the Metropolitan division. Other NHL teams have been revitalizing their jerseys either going back to the retro look which were quite popular in the 1980s and 90s or designing a whole New Jersey which many fans have enjoyed.
The explanation for this jersey is to show that this was made in New York, and it shows the pride that the organization has and the ties it also has with the city it plays in and wants to show off that bold and strong bond.
Last season, Rangers had complete success with their third jerseys as they had won nine of their 10 games. The team is hoping to duplicate this success much like their season last year.
The first game will take place on October 24th when the Florida Panthers return to MSG after they met against the Rangers in the Eastern Conference finals. The Rangers are looking for revenge and make a statement that they are ready and willing to defeat the Panthers again and a potential meeting in the playoffs later this year.
The schedule shows the Rangers will play against the Flyers, Penguins, the avalanche, the Blue Jackets, the Los Angeles Kings, the capitals and the New York Islanders.
The Rangers have begun their preseason with a 3-2 win against the Boston Bruins. Their next game is against the New York Islanders which will take place on September 24th and game time will be 7:00pm eastern.
