Peter Laviolette confirms the worst for Jimmy Vesey regarding ongoing injury

New York Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette confirms the worst regarding Jimmy Vesey's injury that sustained at practice.

Vesey is one of the many forward this season who he will competing for a spot on the Rangers lineup. Unfortunately his chances seem to be slim considering he was just injured the other day.
As it was reported by Remy Mastey of The Hockey News that Vesey would limp off the ice, during Rangers practice.

Head Coach Peter Laviolette would later address the media regarding Vesey's injury:
Rangers coach Peter Laviolette confirmed that Vesey is being evaluated for a lower-body injury, but he didn't go into many specifics.

Laviolette did say the play Vesey got hurt on looked «harmless.»
However, today as the New York Rangers hit the ice for their morning practice as they prepare to faceoff against the New Jersey Devils tonight at 7PM, head coach Peter Laviolette confirms Vesey's status.
In a recent post by Vince Z. Mercogliano he stated the following:
Lavi says it'll be a few weeks for Vesey with the lower-body injury #NYR
Some very unfortunate news for the Rangers as it appears Vesey will be out for a few weeks due to his lower body injury, and will go on to miss tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils.
This past season the 31-year-old recorded 13 goals, 13 assists and 26 points in 80 games while averaging 12:23 minutes.
