Rangers Captain A Massive Reason The Team Is First In The League
Captain Jacob Trouba has been outstanding this season, leading the No. 1 team in the league in all the right ways!
There are many factors that contribute to why the Rangers are playing as well as they are, but Trouba has been the anchor on the defensive side of the game, steadying the team, especially with Adam Fox and Filip Chytil out due to injuries.
He's leading the NHL in blocked shots, averaging the most time on ice, has tallied nine points in 19 games and is a +9.
Head coach Peter Laviolette mentions how this all starts with leadership. Take a listen here!
"It starts with Jacob Trouba, who has been an absolute warrior for our team. That's the captain of your team setting the tone."
It definitely starts with Trouba. He sets the tone for the team and they follow! Let's hope it leads to a lot more wins!
