Rangers Goalie Offering High Praise To Teammate After Win
The Rangers won their third consecutive game in a row against the Tampa Bay Lightning, on the heels of another great goaltending performance!
Vintage Jonathan Quick stopping 19 of 20 shots for a .950 save percentage.
Despite the win, Quick addressed the media and offered high praise to fellow goalie, talking about learning from Igor Shesterkin:
"He's the best in the world. I learn so much from just watching him in practice."
Igor Shesterkin isn't playing like it this season, but when he is on top of his game, there are very few goaltenders in the league, if any, that can make the claim they are better than him.
Hopefully he will get back into shape before the playoffs.
With tonight's win, the Rangers improve to 4-1-1 over their last six games and notch their 32nd win of the season - tied for the second most in the NHL.
Let's keep this streak going!
