Rangers Hold Optional Practice, No Show For Injured Players
The Rangers are enjoying the start of a five-day break after an exhilarating 4-3 shootout win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
To start the break, they are holding an optional practice for the team. Igor Shesterkin is out on the ice and is looking sharp.
Even showcasing some of his passing and shooting abilities.
Unfortunately there is no sign of Ryan Lindgren or Filip Chytil, who is now eligible to return to the team after the week long injured reserve placement.
Lindgren is currently day-to-day with an upper-body injury after taking a blow to the head.
Thankfully the team has five days before their next game against the New Jersey Devils. But this now marks two defensemen down, as Adam Fox is currently out with a lower-body injury.
He is ineligible to return to the team until November 29, against the Detroit Red Wings, due to being placed on long term injured reserve.
We will update more on their injury statuses as they become available.
