Rangers Holding Practice With Banged Up Players Plus Goalie Announced
The Rangers held morning practice in preparation for the Philadelphia Flyers tonight, who will be in major desperation mode for a win to keep their slimming playoff hopes alive.
Meanwhile, the Rangers are still aiming to clinch the Metropolitan Division, Eastern Conference, and the President Trophy.
Jonathan Quick was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, meaning he will be the starting goalie tonight.
Jonathan Quick boasts a 18-5-2 record, with a 2.56 goals allowed average, and a .913 save percentage with two shoutouts.
Chris Kreider and
Mika Zibanejad, who were both pretty banged up during the 4-2 loss to the Islanders on Tuesday, were in the morning skates, and they look like they will be playing tonight.
The Rangers can clinch the No. 1 seed with a win, plus a Carolina regulation loss to the St. Louis Blues (which would also clinch the division) and a Boston regulation loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
