Rempe confesses true feelings about Matthew Tkachuk ahead of game one
The New York Rangers and Florida Panthers are set to face each other tonight for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Rookie Matt Rempe just might distracted when playing against Matthew Tkachuk.
While meeting with reporters, Rempe confessed he always admired Matthew Tkachuk when he played for the Calgary Flames, as he watched him in action in his hometown of Calgary.
Rempe even admitted he was devastated when Tkachuk was involved in a blockbuster trade in the summer of 2022, send hit to the Florida Panthers.
This was quite the confession from Rempe who has been struggling throughout his season with the Rangers, despite the success of the team. And obviously quite the opposite when it comes to Matthew Tkachuk, who has been an outstanding player for the Panthers
Hopefully Rempe won't be too distracted while playing against the Panthers and return the heartbreak to Tkachuk by eliminating the Panthers.
