New York Rangers superstar Artemi Panarin remained sidelined after exiting last nights preseason game vs the New Jersey Devils.

Artemi Panarin excited the game during the first period of the New York Rangers preseason game against the New Jersey Devils with a lower-body injury.
The official statement for the New York Rangers PR on x:
UPDATE: Artemi Panarin (lower body) will not return tonight.
Artemi Panarin made his way into the New York Rangers locker room during the first period and never returned to the bench.
Unfortunately this seems to be on ongoing issue for Artemi Panarin as he also exited last weeks game against the New York Islanders with the same injury.
From last weeks game:
Artemi Panarin just went down the #NYR tunnel
Laviolette says it's a lower-body injury for Panarin. He's still being evaluated. #NYR
However, it remains unclear if the veteran forward's injury was sustained from tonight's game of if it's the same injury that has been bugging him all week long.
Despite all there is some light at the end of the tunnel as a very respected Rangers reporter, Mollie Walker of The New York Times released an update today stating that Panarin left the game for precautionary reasons.
Similarly to the game against the Isles, it sounds like Panarin left the game for precautionary reasons #NYR
Making this concerning consider he can't even make it past the first period of a game. Clearly leaving the extent of Panarin's injury in question.
