The Rangers Have Recalled A Player From The Hartford Wolf Pack
The Rangers have recalled defenseman Connor Mackey, from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
This isn't the first time Mackey has been recalled to the team.
Ever since defenseman Adam Fox went down, he has been recalled to the team and assigned back to the Wolf Pack repeatedly.
Of course, this is a process needed to keep accruing as much cap space as possible towards the deadline.
Mackey has yet to play a game for the Rangers thus far. The team have added Zac Jones to the defensive line-up, so Mackey has been used as a reserved player.
Mackey is the only player to be recalled to the team. Another player the Rangers usually recall is Louis Domingue.
But with the improved health of Igor Shesterkin, it looks like his services won't be needed for now. Either Shesterkin or Jonathan Quick will be start tomorrow against the New Jersey Devils.
