The New York Rangers have officially made their 1st round selection of the 2024 NHL Draft.
The New York Rangers have selected US National Team Development Program (USNTDP) defenseman, EJ Emery, 30th overall in the 2024 Draft.
The 6'3″, 185-pound, 18-year old defenseman racked up 16 points (all assists) in 61 games with the U.S. National Team Development Program during the 2023-24 season.
The young prospect even collected two points (one goal, one assist) in seven games with Team USA at the 2023 U-17 World Hockey Challenge, winning a gold medal.
