These Two Form An Unstoppable Pair For An Unstoppable Line
Alexis Lafrenière has been off to a great start for the season.
Scoring five goals and nine points total. It's been a start that has silenced some doubters about him.
The former No. 1 pick was asked on how much fun he's been having playing the game:
"Yea it's fun just coming to the rink everyday, trying to work. We have a good group here. I don't know, just coming to the rink, having a smile on my face, trying to get better."
These two combine for 13 goals and 31 points total.
11 of those 13 goals are even strength goals, compared to the rest of the team combining for 16.
What's more impressive is the capability of still being this lethal, with the injury of center
Filip Chytil, and the insertion of
Vincent Trocheck.
Vincent Trocheck himself has been on fire the last two games since replacing Chytil in the second line and joining Lafrenière and Panarin.
Clearly the second line for the Rangers has had the most success so far 13 games in, and the reason for this success, is because of the two aforementioned players.
