This Stat Will Be The Rangers Downfall If They Don't Correct It Soon
The Rangers have played inconsistent hockey now for nearly two months. It seems like they either blow teams out, or they get blown out.
One stat that is very alarming, is their failing defense, and the amount of goals they allow in a short span of time.
The Rangers allow clusters of goals, within minutes of each other.
To bring it all home here:
13 of our 16 losses (81%) our opposition has scored 2 goals within 4 mins.
10 of our 16 losses (63%) our opposition has scored 2 goals within 2 mins.
18 of our 44 overall games (41%) our opposition has scored 2 goals within 4 mins.
It's only halfway into the season, the Rangers can course correct before the playoffs.
But it has to start now!
