The New York Rangers faced off against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, where the Rangers managed to pull off a 2-1 victory over the Ducks.
The New York Rangers first goal came from Ryan Lindgren within about five minutes of the third period, thanks to the magic Artemi Panarin created.
As Panarin was behind the net, he had to moment to look up and see defenseman Ryan Lindgren move up close to the net, where he then fed him a solid pass that he ripped passed Anaheim Ducks goaltender Lukas Dostal for his very first goal of the 2024-25 season.
Truly Impressive as Lindgren missed the first five games of the year with a jaw injury that he suffered in the preseason.
Following that amazing goal the New York Rangers forward Will Cuylle scored an impressive goal that was overturned due to him being offside. However, just minutes after Cuylle fought back and managed to net another goal that needed to be revived, but luckily this one counted giving the Rangers the 2-0 lead.
It certainly wouldn't be a Rangers victory if Panarin wasn't involved, through the last eight games, Panarin has recorded six goals, nine assists and 15 points, keeping his point streak alive.
