Recent online photos raise major health concerns for Capitals Alexander Ovechkin
More photos have surfaced on X.com of Washington Capitals superstar Alexander Ovechkin that have many fans concerned.
Since the Washington Capitals were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the New York Rangers, pictures have been surfacing on social media of Ovechkin and his physique, leaving many fans concerned for next season.
Ovechkin is obviously very well known as a scoring machine for the Capitals and has once been deemed the greatest player in the NHL. However over the last few years he has seemed to let himself and his body relax during the offseason.
Fans are mainly concerned about his general physique as he is always fit and ready to go for the next season.
As Ovechkin prepares for the next season, which could very well be his last, he has one goal in mind and it will be to become the best all time scorer in the NHL as he is currently chasing Wayne Gretzky's record.
Ovi currently has 853 goals which is 42 goals shy of breaking Gretzky's record, so one thing is certain, if he wants to break that record he will need to start training seriously again.
