Things are off to a heated start between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils early within the first period.

The New York Rangers are currently facing off against the New Jersey Devils in a back-to-back game as they faced each other just yesterday night(Monday, September 31st).
Definitely seems that last season's rivalry is going to continue into this year as last night there was a fight between, Rangers forward Adam Erne and Devils forward Brian Halonen.
However, tonight that continues as Rangers forward Bo Groulx dropped the gloves with Devils defenseman Jackson Van De Leest, with 7:55 minutes remaining in the first period, after Van De Leest laid a massive hit on Will Cuylle.
Van de leest of the #NJDevils just threw a big open ice hit on Will Cuylle, #NYR Bo Groulx goes right after him and drops the mitts.
Tonight is going to be wild, as it doesn't end there. As Rangers Sam Carrick went at it with Devils forward Mike Hardman with just under a minute left in the first period.
Despite all the excitement from the period, it now comes to an end with the game being tied 1-1.
Stay tuned more update on tonight's game between the New York Rangers Vs. The New Jersey Devils, as things are likely to stay heated.
