K'Andre Miller's status goes from bad to worse as the Rangers place defenseman on Injured Reserve
the New York Rangers receive some unfortunate news as their defensemans injury status goes from bad to worst with latest update.
The New York Rangers received some unfortunate news back on Wednesday, December 11th as their star defenseman K'Andre Miller was sidelined for the third period with an upper-body injury during the Rangers vs Sabres game.
It was first pointed out by Mollie Walker of the New York Post, that Miller was not on the Rangers bench, then the Rangers PR team on X later confirmed is injury.

UPDATE: K'Andre Miller (upper body) will not return tonight.
There has been some speculation as to where and when the 24-year old sustained his injury but it's purely just speculation,
This hit from 6'6 Jordan Greenway on Miller seems to be his upper body injury. It happened midway through the 2nd period and Miller finished that period but didn't come out to start the 3rd period and was "will not return tonight (upper body)" #NYR K'Andre Miller has appeared in all the New York Rangers games thus far and has managed to put up 2 goals and 4 assist for a total of 6 points throughout 27 games.
Latest update on K'Andre Millers injury
So this is where things go from bad to worst as the New York Rangers have just announced on Friday afternoon that Miller was placed on Injured Reserve(IR), right before the Rangers upcoming road trip.
K'Andre Miller (upper body) is on injured reserve, #NYR� say. He won't be making the start of the road trip, at least.
Definitely some unfortunate news as the New York Rangers desperately need all the help they can get on the defensive end. Hopefully Miller can recover quickly and rejoin the team at some point.
