A new suspect has been arrested in connection to a September 22nd, ho*****e which saw 41-year old, Andre Bourgeois pass away.

Bourgeois was victim to a group of teenagers which now included Tyler Totten, a junior hockey player from Truro, Nova Scotia.

Totten is an 18-year-old hockey player who plays for the Fredericton Red Wings and was a part of the group of teenagers who led the violent attack on Bourgeois, which led to his untimely death.

The Fredericton Police Force(opens in a new tab) says three more teenagers have been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a man in the city last month.

The three charged include:

18-year-old Tyler Totten
a 17-year-old male youth
a 16-year-old male youth
All three teens appeared in court Thursday and were released on conditions.

Bourgeois would be victimized by the group of teens on the 22nd, in the Tannery areas of Fredericton, N.B. in the downtown area. Another man, besides Bourgeois, was involved in the attack as well but Bourgeois would be the one to suffer critical injuries as a result.

Totten has been charged with manslaughter following the passing of Bourgeois on the 27th of September. The 18-year-old hockey player, currently plays for the Fredericton Red Wings, in the Junior A Maritime Hockey League.

Both 17-year-olds and the 16-year-old involved with the altercation have their identities protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act in Canada, and it is unconfirmed whether they're connected to the Maritime Hockey League or the Fredericton Red Wings.

Spokesperson James Faulker of the Junior A Maritime Hockey League has said that they will cooperate with police in the area, along with the team who has acknowledged the incident and related charges.

An 18-year-old Junior A hockey player with the Fredericton Red Wings has been charged with manslaughter, several weeks after a 41-year-old man died following a late-night altercation in the city's downtown.
Fredericton police have also charged two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old with manslaughter in connection with the man's death.
If the minors are connected to the Red Wings, police cannot say because they cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Maritime Junior Hockey League spokesman James Faulkner told me the league and the Red Wings are cooperating with Fredericton police regarding what Faulkner called a "non-hockey related incident."
Wings general manager Kyle McAllister declined to comment.

The Red Wings GM Kyle McAllister wouldn't comment on the matter, however.
