Head Coach Peter Laviolette has to be buzzing this week, as the Rangers as Artemi Panarin has earned the Second Star of the Week from the NHL.

Panarin has scored 8 points( 4 G, 4 A) in the last 3 games for the New York Rangers, and Laviolette has to be proud of his players, and himself.

Breadman's accolades are a testament to the Ranger's chemistry, as the Vinnie Troecheck-led line has produced excellent results.

Panarin looks to be on pace to score more than his career-high 120 points( 49 G, 71 A) last season in 2023-2024.

In the last 5 games, Panarin has put up 12 points( 6 G, 6 A) as Breadman is leading the league in points at the start of the season. Tied with him, are Cale Makar, and Sam Reinhart.

He also has had 5 power-play points for the Rangers, proving himself to be the team's offensive powerhouse yet again.

The New York Rangers have been a deadly opponent, as they have one of the deepest teams in the league, with 3 lines that could score at any time.

The team has outscored its opponents recently, 13-4 during this week, and it was done all by committee.

There have been at least 24 goals scored in 5 games by the team, with only 10 goals given up.

If anything there's a good reason to believe that Artemi Panarin could find himself in Hart Trophy voting this season, as he could legitimately eclipse 120 points this year.

Panarin joined the Rangers after leaving the Columbus Blue Jackets during free agency in 2019, and signed a $81.5 Million dollar deal, for seven years.

He's been one of the highest-paid superstars in the NHL and has lived up to the contract production-wise.

Of course, there's legitimate criticism about Panarin's postseason play, of which he needs to show up then, like in the Eastern Conference Finals where the team saw a decline in production.

But, if he can remain consistent, there's no reason to believe he'll be a shoe-in for the Hart Trophy, and help lead the Rangers to the Stanley Cup.
