With the National Hockey League's regular season officially underway and players returning to their normal schedules, the court case regarding the two brothers Johnny and Matthew Gaurdreau still remains ongoing. However, 911 calls and court documents have been revealed on the tragic incident that took place on August 30th.

It's now almost been two months since both Johnny and Matthew were killed while riding their bikes after their little sister's wedding rehearsal dinner, in preparation for her wedding was supposed to be the next day. Both of the brothers were suppose to be groomsmen in the wedding.

The Columbus Dispatch made a report that stated Sean Higgins, the man who took the lives of Johnny and Matthew, after trying to pass several cars and the two brothers on the bikes.

"One of the vehicles, an SUV closest to the brothers, started moving to the left to create room for the brothers. Police and New Jersey prosecutors have said Higgins accelerated around that SUV on the right, driving into the Gaudreau brothers, who both died at the scene." - Columbus Dispatch

In the original police report it stated that Higgins had been drinking prior to the accident and had roughly five to six beers before taking the brother's lives. Higgins was also accused of going over the listed speed limit of 50MPH, along with his wife stating he was made after a recent phone call with his mother.

Unfortunately after the call with his mother he got into his car while on the phone with his friend and drove around on for a few hours before the accident.

The judge has stated that the 911 cals can be released to the public, but the police have said that they more than likely won't release the tapes due to the family wanting to keep them private. Sean Higgins however, still remains in custody and is set to appear in court again in November.
