Ruling Handed Down On Player After Delivering Dangerous Hit
Brendan Gallagher receives a 5 game suspension for an illegal check to the head of Adam Pelech in the Montreal Canadiens 4-3 win over the New York Islanders.
Gallagher will forfeit $169,270.85 of salary during his five game suspension.
There is no injury status update of Pelech.
