Former Olympian and German hockey player Andzej Hachula sadly passes away at 64-years old

The hockey community is mourning the passing of former Olympian and hockey player Andzej Hachula who has sadly passed away at 64-years old.

Recent reports from hockey.worldwide has shared some saddened news that former ice hockey forward Andrzej Hachuła, who passed away at 64 years of age.

Hachula was a valued player who spent the last two decades of his career with both the Polish and German teams.

Many would consider Hachula to be a very aggressive player on ice, and has left many fans and teammates with fond memories of his legacy.

Hachula's career would start in the country of Poland, playing from their most famous teams such as Naprzod Janow, KTH-Legia Krynica, and GKS Katowice. Earning the title of one of the best Poland's player throughout 1978 to 1989.

Internationally, Hachuta scored 15 (8+7) points in 13 games for Poland at the 1983 World Championship Group B and 1984 Olympics. He also scored 18 (7+11) points in 8 games across the 1979 and 1980 World Junior Championships.

Back in 1990 was when, Hachula would move to Germany to join REV Bremerhaven and played several games in the country's second and third-tier leagues until 1997.

Andrzej Hachuła's passion for the hockey community was greatly appreciated, along with his love for the game will always be remembered.

The hockey community will forever remember him with the great memories he has left behind.
