The New York Rangers superstar officially achieves a massive milestone and is the only active undrafted player to do so.
New York Rangers superstar Artemi Panarin has official reached a very impressive milestone during Thursday nights game against the Buffalo Sabres.
The Breadman has 19 points( 9 G, 10 A) in 12 games. However the one and only point Panarin got on Thursday was an assist on Will Cuylle's goal, which has officially made him the only active undrafted player to collect his 800th career point.
Along with being the 33rd undrafted player to ever reach this milestone.
👏🥖 Artemi Panarin is the only active undrafted player to collect his 800th career point.
Congratulations to the @nyrangers forward, who also becomes the 33rd undrafted player to ever reach the mark!
Panarin, a free agent, agreed to a contract with the Chicago Blackhawks on May 1, 2015, after a successful career in the Kontinental Hockey League. He thrived on a forward line with fellow Russia-born players Artem Anisimov and Patrick Kane, finishing with 30 goals and 77 points (tied for ninth in the NHL) in 80 games in 2015-16 and won the Calder Trophy as the League's top rookie. Since his arrival in the NHL, he has continued to be a force to be reckoned with, whether in Chicago, Columbus, or his current club the New York Rangers.
Without a doubt we will witness Artemi Panrin put up another 100 point season this year and maybe even witness him win his first ever Hart Trophy if he continues to play the way he is!
