Former and legendary head coach Mark Keeton took to X to announce a job and health update after having open heart surgery done.
No longer Italy's National Head Coach, but will be their hockey consultant. Recovering well from open heart surgery 🙏 ❤️🩹 👍🏻
Unfortunately, Mark has lost his role as Italy's Head Coach, but at least he maintained a role within the team. Thankfully, the biggest news of it all, he's doing okay and recovering nicely from the surgery.
Keeton has done everything you possibly can coaching hockey, winning championships in the OHL, KHL, the Calder Cup with the Rochester Americans and the Stanley Cup with the New York Rangers.
We wish Keeton all the best.
