Frank Seravalli under fire from NHL fans after disrespectful comment regarding Johnny Gaudreau's death

As it's shown below, Seravalli released a piece today for the Daily Faceoff where he made predictions for all the 32 teams in the National Hockey League. Following this he predicted the Columbus Blue Jackets would win the NHL Draft Lottery.

However, it's the way he worded the prediction as it was truly disrespectful, as he was giving «thanks» to the death of Johnny Gaudreau.

Truly some poor choice of words and an insensitive way to make a point from Seravalli. Which he understands considering he changed and edited his article about three times before finally settling on what he posted, which clearly wasn't any better and didn't help the situation.

Without a doubt, NHL fans have been calling him out on social media all day long, and are essentially calling for the end of The Daily Faceoff for the foreseeable future. Definitely a situation that could have been easily avoidable, however the controversy will continue until Seravalli acknowledges his mistake, as he is yet to defend himself on social media.

Certainly a huge learning experience for Seravalli, in hopes he takes it seriously and sees it how everyone else does. Cause these types of situations will not go unnoticed by the fan base surrounding the NHL.
