In a sense of frustration, Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman chose to throw his stick towards the referees at the end of his team's loss of 2-1 against the Vegas golden Knights on Saturday night.

For that careless and rather dangerous play, Hartman will attend a hearing with the NHL players safety department that will be held on April 1st.

Hartman has had several incidents where he has been fined or has been suspended in the past couple of years.

His most recent suspension was when he received a two-game penalty for slew footing Alex Debrincat of the Detroit Red Wings.

The 29-year-old right winger has had a few down seasons in terms of point production as he has suffered a few injuries along with his suspensions.

Through this season, he has played 68 games, scored nineteen goals with 23 assists for 42 points and is a + 5 along with 72 penalty minutes.

There's no indication on whether he will receive a fine or face at least one game suspended for this action but it's safe to say he will certainly be penalized.
