New York Rangers: Brandon Montour reveals where he almost signed
Former Florida Panthers defenseman reveals where he almost signed before making his final decision with the Seattle Kraken.
The 30-year old defenseman, Brandon Montour was a member of the Panthers for the last four years, revealed how important it was for him to make the best decision for him and his family.
"There were conversations. You look at their roster, you look at yourself... and definitely could help. It was intriguing, you know, in that week. There were talks, but again, there's a lot that goes into it with family, with what they need and what I need, business decisions and such."
With that being said, there was tons a speculation that Montour was going to sign with the Toronto Maple Leafs before making his final decision to sign with the Seattle Kraken on long term deal.
Montour's final decisions were ultimately family-based as he felt like Seattle was the best place for him as a player and for him and his family to grow.
