Spittin Chiclets roast Frankie Borrelli after Islanders meltdown
It was a tough yet hilarious clip from the Spittin Chiclets as they watched the video of New York Islanders super fan and Bartstool Sports Frankie Borrelli have a meltdown watching his team blow a 3-0 lead in very short order and then lose 5-3 to the Carolina Hurricanes.
As soon as the team began to unravel, the sheer shock and disbelief on Borrelli's face was priceless and the hosts were in stiches while watching.
The collapse began at 10:43 of the third with Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis scored his first of the playoffs, to which the Hurricanes then scored three more goals under two minutes which was finished off the Islanders in Game 2.
It's becoming clear the Hurricanes hold the edge over the Islanders and it seems to be a large mountain to climb. It remains to be seen if Islanders head coach Patrick Roy will change his goalies and put Ilya Sorokin in net to change it up.
The Islanders will look to bounce back from this debacle and focus on Game 3 as it switches gears to Long Island. Game 3 will be on Thursday April 25th at 7:30 pm eastern.
