Sportsnet cuts: Ron MacLean's fate with Hockey Night in Canada now confirmed
Recent reports confirm Ron MacLean's future with Hockey Night in Canada.
Ron MacLean has been with Hockey Night in Canada very a very long time, but over the last few weeks there has been speculation that he may lose his job with Sportsnet.
The speculation started when Sportsnet parted ways with one of the greatest NHL insiders, Jeff Marek, and since then Jonah Sig of YYZ Sports Media suggested that more layoffs could be underway for Sportsnet.
With that being said, since that has happened there has been a ton of speculation that Ron MacLean was at the top of this to be the next one to lose his job.
However, Sigel made it very clear that MacLean's future with Sportsnet is not in jeopardy and won't be anytime soon, at least not until their current deal with Rogers ends in two years.
