Team issues statement after three hockey players hospitalized after being involved in a multi-car accident
Unfortunate news surfaces as three hockey players were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident, and their team has issued a statement regarding the incident.
Over the last couple of weeks the hockey community has been facing some devastating news, and unfortunately more bad news continues to emerge as three hockey players in the QMJHL were hospitalized due to a multi-vehicle accident.
Angelo Fullerton, Lucas Romeo, and Brayden Schmitt are all teammates on the Cape Breton Eagles , were all transported to the St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish after the car accident.
The Cape Breton Eagles have issued a statement after the terrible news surfaced:
Luckily no one involved in the car accident was seriously injured, as Brayden Schmitt was the only person admitted overnight, but as stated by the team he should be released from the hospital in the next couple of days.
Praying and hoping everyone involved has a speedy recovery, and can return to hockey.
