One forward GM Chris Drury and the Rangers could look to acquire is, the Anaheim Ducks Frank Vatrano.
The Rangers have been linked to Vatrano since the trade deadline, but nothing has materialized.
Vatrano just had a stellar season, an All-Star season in Anaheim, as he experienced a rejuvenation of his career.
Vatrano, not only was nominated to an All-Star Game, but played the full 82 game season with the Ducks.
He would score 23 goals for 60 total points with the Ducks averaging 18:21 TOI as a top-six winger.
Vatrano's linemates were Trevor Zegras and Troy Terry, and would be a great fit in New York.
He's already familiar with Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad, and the rest of the team playing in New York during Gerard Gallant's tenure.
He's proven himself to be a playoff performer as well, playing 20 games in 2021-2022, scoring 13 points(5 G, 8 A) after being traded from Florida to New York.
GM Chris Drury should consider a reunion as soon as possible, his contract expires in 2025, with a $3.65 M cap hit and could be a rental, or if Vatrano performs up to expectations extend him.
