Minnesota Trades Three-Time Stanley Cup Champion
In recent news, Pat Maroon has been traded by the Minnesota Wild to the Boston Bruins.
The deal took place today, as the Bruins will be receiving AHL player
Luke Toporowski in return, on top of a conditional sixth round pick during the draft of 2026.
The draft pick is relied upon Maroon playing a minimum of a single game during the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs.
Maroon is famously known as a three-time Stanley Cup Champion three seasons in a row.
The seasoned veteran has been looked up to by fans and players alike for some time now because of the dedication and victories he has provided from team to team.
The first of the three were attained while playing for St. Louis in 2019, while the next two championships were won alongside Tampa Bay in both 2020 and 2021.

Pat Maroon is set to potentially become an unrestricted free agent come the end of this season.

Looking back on his flourished history across numerous teams, he has a total of 121 goals and 183 assists throughout 778 career games played, landing him with 304 points sitting at 19.
