Another Hughes Family Member Gets Annihilated On The Boards
Not long after New Jersey Devils center Jack Hughes, is out week-to-week after sustaining a head injury while slamming into the boards, his younger brother, defenseman Luke Hughes, gets obliterated towards the boards by Colorado Avalanche forward, Ross Calton, in last nights 6-3 win by the Avalanche.

Colton got a two minute penalty for boarding Hughes. He was then ejected with a five minute game misconduct for cross-checking winger Timo Meier, in the face as well.
Hughes left the game to head towards the locker room to be evaluated, but would eventually return back to the bench.
