Another Rangers Player Injured With A New Recall
What was suppose to be another simple recall announcement, ended up being something more, and the Rangers aren't catching any breaks here.
It's just been reported that they have recalled goaltender Louis Domingue, defenseman Connor Mackey, and another goaltender, Dylan Garland, from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Unfortunately almost immediately after this, it's been reported Jonathan Quick is currently day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Igor Shesterkin is also day-to-day with minor soreness.
He has been with the team for optional practice the past couple of days, but the Rangers are remaining cautious with him.
If neither Quick, or Shesterkin will be ready for tomorrow's match-up against the Minnesota Wild, that means either Garland, or Domingue will get the start in front of the net.
Note they haven't recalled forward Jonny Brondzinski due to the team already hitting the maximum allowed players on the roster at 23 players.
