The Rangers were holding an optional practice session today for the team, and among the participants, is Igor Shesterkin.

Apparently Shesterkin is a "full go".

Laviolette wants to wait and see how Shesterkin feels before making any determination for tomorrow's rematch against the Minnesota Wild.

Shesterkin has been day-to-day since the 2-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes, last Thursday. If he is not ready to go, Jonathan Quick will get the start again for the third straight game tomorrow.

Quick has been excellent for the Rangers this season, another massive reason for the Rangers current hot start to the season, and giving Shesterkin all the rest he needs.

Center Filip Chytil still has not attended practice today. The soonest he would be able to return from injured reserve is November 12th.
