Brace Yourselves Rangers Nation, The True Test Begins Now
The Rangers are finally going to be coming back home to Madison Square Garden for the first time in two weeks.
The last time the Rangers played at the Garden was against the Nashville Predators, where they lost 4-1 on October 19.
The Blueshirts got off to a rocky start in their first four games of the season, especially the first two home games.
Now they can redeem themselves with going out and beating the team right under their noses in the Metropolitan Division standings, the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes are so potent offensively to start the year, ranking fourth in total goals scored and sixth in goals scored per game.
They can definitely get on the scoreboard in bunches. Fortunately, the Rangers boast one of the top defenses in the league, ranking third in total goals allowed, and second in goals allowed per game.
The Hurricanes won't be the only tough test the Rangers will face in the next five games, as they have the Detroit Red Wings surprising everyone in the league with the number two scoring offense.
Thankfully they have four of the next five games at home against tougher competition, so the fans can cheer behind this group as we look to extend our five game win streak!
Milestone alert!
The Rangers need 11 wins to become the fifth franchise in the NHL to win 3,000 games.
