Bruins head coach calls out his entire team after losing to the New York Rangers again
Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery, called out his entire team following their recent loss against the New York Rangers.
It was stated by Bruins Insider that Jim Montgomery was not impressed with how the Bruins perform during their recent game against the New York Rangers
The New York Rangers are off to an excellent start of the preseason, as they currently have a record of 3-0, two of those wins being against the Boston Bruins. Leaving Bruins head coach furious.
The New York Rangers completely outplayed the Boston Bruins during the two games, but especially last night as they won 5-2.
The Bruins tried to bounce back from their first loss against the Rangers and dressed some of their bigger players for the game, like Nikita Zadorov and along with many other Bruins fan favourites.
Following last nights game, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery spoke with the media, and revealed how he felt about the Bruins:
«Yeah, I didn't think we were very physical or get a lot of emotion in our group, we started the game OK, but well the most important thing we're looking for is to see our team game build, which was below average tonight, but the other part is, individuals trying to making a mark themselves and showing some emotions physically when things aren't going our way." - Montgomery"
Like any other coach in the National Hockey League, Jim Montgomery holds his players to a higher standard, in hopes that they can put their emotions to the side and push through to get the victory.
However, it is only the preseason so Jim Montgomery and the Boston Bruins have plenty of time to readjust and plan a way to pull off a victory against the New York Rangers, as the two teams will only face each other again in the new year, on January 2nd, 2025, at 7PM.
