Team officials in the New York Rangers organization feel that concerns are rising over the injury to Chris Kreider as he has missed his third game after the Rangers lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2.

Many have noticed as he took to the ice that he has been unable to put any force behind his shot as it appears he still struggles with an upper body injury.

Rangers have had rash of injuries over last few games

Over the past couple of games, the New York Rangers have suffered several injuries including Kreider along with defenseman K'Andre Miller and defenseman Adam fox who suffered a left shoulder injury after falling on the ice a few days ago.
The team is trying to find its winning ways again after stabilizing their season in January and trying to put themselves as far as they can from the disastrous November and December schedule that saw the team fall out of a playoff spot.
The team is now looking for its final games before the NHL trade deadline that will take place on March 7th and see which way general manager Chris Drury will take the team as they continue to sit just outside of a playoff spot.

Trade deadline plans unknown for Rangers

While many teams may have obvious needs, the Rangers have had several trades over the past year which has changed the complexion of this roster which included seeing the departures of captain Jacob Trouba, Kappo Kaako and Barclay Goodrow during last summer.
If the Rangers decided to become sellers and that the playoffs are unattainable, it's likely they will try to sell as many of their unrestricted free agents that they're not wanting to sign which includes K'Andre Miller and Ryan Lindgren.
Only time will tell on how this will transpire but in the meantime the Rangers will try to get back in the win column as they will be at home to face off against the Nashville Predators at 7:00 PM eastern on Sunday March 2nd.
