Unexpected New York Rangers forward shines amongst all players with an impressive 3-2 preseason victory over the Boston Bruins.

Rangers forward Filip Chytil has made a massive statement to the Rangers organization and all their fans as he led the Rangers to a 3-2 victory over the Bruins, and was arguably the best player for Rangers on the ice.

The 25-year old forward has been facing a lot of pressure as his past seven seasons with the New York Rangers have been filled with injuries, just last November he suffered a concussion that sidelined him for the entire regular season, and most of the playoffs.

On Sunday night, Chytil made a big statement as he led the Rangers past the Bruins and was by far the best player on the ice.

However, on Sunday night he left his mark on the ice as he finished the night will 1 goal and 1 assist.

However, it wasn't just Chytil's stats that made him standout, throughout the night he showed great energy and speed, along with some impressive stick handling. Chytil really stood out in the offensive zone and created plays for his teammates, like the game-winning assist to Alex Belzile.

This is only the beginning for the Rangers and things are starting to look promising already, hopefully Chytil can remain healthy this season and showcase his true potential for the Rangers.
