Earlier today, before being traded former New York Rangers forward Filip Chytil issued a statement about their upcoming game against the Boston Bruins.

The New York Rangers will have a tough five-game stretch, as they'll taken on the Boston Bruins twice, the Vegas Golden Knights, Pittsburgh Penguins, and the Columbus Blue Jackets in that timeframe, but Filip Chytil won't be apart of the team for those games.
They'll have a chance to right the boat with newly acquired forward J.T. Miller and can pickup ten points if they manage to go on a 5-game winning streak.
The Rangers could end up putting themselves back into the playoff discussion if they can start the weekend with a victory over the Boston Bruins.
Like the Rangers, the Bruins have failed to play up to expectations this season. If they're able to solve Jeremy Swayman, and David Pastrnak they could win their first of five games.
Before being traded, Chytil's comment has an air of confidence, as he acknowledges the team has 32 games left in the regular season yet.
If the Rangers could turn their 24-22-4 record into 29-22-4, they could attain 62 total points and put themselves back into the top of the Metropolitan Division.
That'll require buy-in from all Rangers players this season, including newly acquire forward J.T. Miller.
Chytil has only played 41 games this season and scored 20 points (11 G, 9 A) and was on one of the Rangers' best lines this year, but it's unsure where he will play with the Canucks going forward.
Chytil before getting traded, finally snapped his goal drought two games again when he had a goal and assist against the Flyers.
The Bruins and Penguins may be easy pickings, but the Vegas Golden Knights may give the Rangers an issue.
