Game changing news emerges for the New York Rangers as they prepare to face the Bruins
Over the past couple of hours, the dust has begun to settle after the New York Rangers made a blockbuster deal with the Vancouver Canucks bringing home former Rangers draft pick JT Miller.

It appears the Rangers organization is hoping that Miller will be able to join the team as he left the game in Dallas to fly to Boston where the Bruins will take on the Rangers.
Miller trade in the works for weeks
It's been well documented over the past several weeks the JT Miller and Elias Pettersson have been at odds in the Vancouver Canucks dressing room which has divided the team and caused a major rift.

It was only a matter of time before Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin had to
decide as the team's playoff chances continued to sink due to the unrest.
The Rangers sent center Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a protected 1st round pick to the Canucks for Jt Miller, Erik Brannstrom and Jackson Dorrington. Canucks did not retain any salary from Miller.

Rangers have made several deals this season
Rangers general manager Chris Drury has made it clear that he wanted to change the makeup of the team as he has made several changes over the past season including trading their captain Jacob Trouba to the Anaheim Ducks.
This trade will certainly shake up the Rangers core as the team is now adding Miller to their lineup and he will be alongside his past and current teammates and try to help get the Rangers back into the playoffs.
It remains to be seen if Drury is done with his moves or will the Rangers continue to make changes as the March trade deadline approaches.
